I am Monika Gamaro, a Manila-based UX designer. Naturally persistent, inquisitive, and creative, I started my career teaching myself Photoshop and graphic design, and have had nearly a decade of experience in the field. My early years in graphic design sparked a deeper interest in solving the complex challenges of the digital age through UX design.
Since shifting my focus to user experience. I have collaborated with design teams in shaping product roadmaps and developing comprehensive design systems for web and digital products. I am interested in projects that prioritize ease of access to information and services, especially in education, finance, and entertainment.
When not working, I enjoy building physical things — from Lego sets to DIY kitchen counters. Sometimes, I take easy runs. I also casually take photos of music events or watch cars go around in circles.
